Mobile Porch is a new space! Mobile Porch is a new space, which tries to establish a new site - specific art practice and a new approach to public space.

Mobile Porch is a prototype for a new encounter between contemporary art and the users and visitors of a public sphere.

Creating private situations in a public space.

Our art practice is very much based on a direct engagement with the site, both physically and socially. A 1:1 communication with passers-by is as important as the realization of 1:1 visual and architectural ideas on site.

It is the idea of an including art practice that aims to find new partners and contexts, challenging the new meaning for art and reconsidering art«s social relevance.

Mobile Porch is also a tool to demonstrate our confidence in public space! - and it should be a tool which is fun to operate and which causes curiosity.
