backstage is a loose collection of texts, drawings and images that
are relevant for the development of the process of Mobile Porch.
It includes application forms, images from meetings, first design
sketches, brainstorms, etc.
The Mobile Porch web page works in two layers The red layer is the
face:
It allows for a quick overview of the project, its players and
their intentions.
It provides dates and the basic information needed to understand
what mobile porch is.
The second layer is the backstage area. It aims not so much
to communicate the project but rather to document its process. Naturally,
when work is in progress its focus and direction are changing. Different
players appear and bring new impulses and agendas which fuel the
project. The Backstage area tries to give a space to this process.
It is not conclusive and tries to allow questions to appear in a
less formal way. This develops a pool of Ideas and potentials, which
are directly or indirectly related to the mobile porch. Positions
and concerns that might not appear in the final presentation are
given a place and can stand tall or small.
backstage is our archive and context - to be continued.
